Supporting UN SDG 16

As part of its global engagement, ISSA Egypt works closely with various United Nations organizations to support international efforts in cybercrime prevention, digital justice, and capacity-building for secure digital societies.

Our President, Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy, serves as a Senior Cybercrime Consultant to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and other international bodies, where he has delivered specialized training programs to thousands of law enforcement officials, prosecutors, and judges across more than 20 countries.

These programs focus on:

  • Cybercrime investigations

  • Digital forensics and open-source intelligence (OSINT)

  • Cyberterrorism and emerging threats

  • Legal frameworks and digital evidence handling

This international work directly contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16 (SDG 16):
Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
By strengthening cyber capabilities within justice systems, ISSA Egypt plays a vital role in supporting access to justice, accountable institutions, and public trust in the digital age.

🌐 ISSA Egypt continues to align with global strategies to ensure safety, security, and integrity in an increasingly interconnected world.
