Jamie Ridealgh Is currently a Co-founder of Smart Age UK, involving software development of ERP systems. He has held recent roles in Threat Intelligence, Risk Management and Software Sales and was previously the appointed CEO of GOS Systems Plc, a Homeland Security Technology company specialising in Tactical Intelligence and Secure Communications for police and governments around the world.
Jamie’s diverse background included bringing civil and military operations closer together to support an integrated approach to reconstruction projects in Middle East. To this end, Jamie was contracted as a Regional Intelligence and Liaison Officer to establish and maintain strong ties with senior military commanders and created a civil/military coordination cell. This resulting collaborative effort contributed to the timely success of reconstruction projects, then underway, and with minimal disruption. Jamie later supported operations in Pakistan & Libya to assist implementation of policies, international standards for business continuity and safe working practices.
Jamie’s earliest technology exposure was working as a senior executive with a Finnish start- up company, where he attended the U.S. Congress, U.S. Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), the Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) and the Carolina Panthers NFL club to present the World’s first example of a long-range telemetry concept for automated physical stress monitoring, using wireless technology. He also co-authored “Remote stress monitoring package for the management of soldiers’ physical load” (Huovinen et al, 2010).
Jamie is a university graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Lancashire (UK) and a Master of Arts Degree in Diplomatic Studies from the University of Leicester (UK). Jamie is a member of The Security Institute (UK), ISACA and maintains a strong interest in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and Information Security and encourages debate around the intersection of privacy and security. He has delivered strong contributions to the education sector through guest lectures in: Digital Business Trends, Saving Your Privacy from Destruction by Social Media and Dark Web Investigations at the University of Manchester, Allied Business School, Liverpool John Moores University and the British University in Egypt.
