We are pleased that Dr. Mohamed El Guindy, Advisor to the Public Prosecution, Senior Cybercrime and Cybersecurity Consultant at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), participated in a cultural salon recently held at the Criminal Research and Training Institute.
The salon was organized following an invitation from the Prosecutor General, Counselor Mohamed Shawky, under the theme: “The Victories of the 10th of Ramadan, the Unity of State Institutions and the People Around the Nation and Its Leadership, and Martyrs’ Day.”
The event reflected on the historic legacy of the October 1973 War, honoring the sacrifices of Egypt’s martyrs and highlighting how the courage and unity demonstrated in the past continue to shape national awareness today. The gathering emphasized that when the nation calls, institutions and citizens stand together in solidarity.
The salon witnessed wide participation from leaders and members of the Public Prosecution of Egypt, alongside several distinguished veterans and leaders from the Egyptian Armed Forces who shared reflections on sacrifice, patriotism, and the defense of national sovereignty.
The discussion also included prominent media and cultural figures who highlighted that the 10th of Ramadan victory was not only a military achievement but also a powerful example of unity between state institutions and the Egyptian people.
During the meeting, Dr. El Guindy emphasized the importance of remembering the legacy of the 1973 victory, particularly as it coincided with the holy month of Ramadan. He also highlighted how technology has become a decisive factor in modern conflicts and regional tensions, underlining the growing importance of cybersecurity awareness and digital resilience.
This cultural salon reflects the ongoing commitment of the Public Prosecution of Egypt to promote national awareness, encourage meaningful dialogue, and reinforce understanding of Egypt’s history and the sacrifices made to safeguard its future.
Egypt will always remain strong through the unity of its institutions, the awareness of its people, and the heroism of the men and women who wrote its history with courage and sacrifice.
