Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy Participates in UNESCO International Conference and BRICS IT Forum

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) Egypt Chapter is proud to announce the participation of its President, Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy, in the UNESCO International Conference and the BRICS IT Forum, held recently in Russia.

Dr. El-Guindy was invited to these international events by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Commission for UNESCO in Russia, bringing together global experts in science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and information technology from more than 50 countries.

During the conference, Dr. El-Guindy was honored with an award from UNESCO in recognition of his contributions to the global dialogue on cybersecurity and technology.

The conference included high-level discussions on AI Ethics and the role of cybersecurity as a key pillar of national security, highlighting critical issues at the intersection of ethics, innovation, and national resilience.

Reflecting on his ongoing engagement in global forums, Dr. El-Guindy remarked:
“It’s always an honor to represent Egypt in this international platform — a journey that has continued since 2017.”
