Strengthening Academic and Institutional Collaboration in Egypt

Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy, Senior Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Consultant at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Senior Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Advisor to the Egyptian Public Prosecution, expressed his pride in being part of this distinguished event alongside his esteemed professors, colleagues, and friends.

A significant milestone was achieved with the signing of a Cooperation Protocol (MoU) between the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority and the British University in Egypt (BUE) — an agreement that reinforces a shared vision of advancing academic excellence and institutional development.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Professor Mohamed Loutfi MBE, President and Vice-Chancellor of the British University in Egypt, and Counselor Hussein Madkour, President of the State Lawsuits Authority.

This strategic collaboration aims to enhance the integration between academia and public institutions, fostering innovative pathways for education, research, and professional growth. It reflects a joint commitment to empowering students, professionals, and the wider community through knowledge exchange and applied learning initiatives.

The event also brought together distinguished partners and representatives from leading organizations and institutions, including Ibrahim Salama, the British Council, UK in Egypt, LSBU Global, Universities UK, The Manchester Metropolitan University, Queen Margaret University, and Universities UK International.

Together, these institutions continue to promote cooperation and international engagement, driving excellence across education, legal practice, and technological advancement.

This collaboration marks an important step toward building stronger academic and institutional linkages — reinforcing Egypt’s position as a regional leader in education, innovation, and professional development.
