Counselor Ossama Hanafy is a Chief Prosecutor at the Egyptian Court of Cassation with deep specialization in cybercrime, digital evidence, and the legal challenges of artificial intelligence. His international expertise includes serving as a trainer and expert with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), delivering advanced sessions on cybercrime, OSINT, and digital evidence, as well as working with the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) to train Supreme Court judges on the use of AI in the judiciary. Nationally, he has collaborated extensively with various Egyptian institutions to design and implement capacity-building programs for judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement. He also teaches Cybercrime and Cyberterrorism at the British University in Egypt (BUE), contributing to the development of the next generation of cybercrime investigators. He also serves as an Associate Editor at the International Journal of Doctrine, Judiciary, and Legislation (IJDJL), reviewing scholarly work related to technology, criminal law, and judicial practice. His work reflects a comprehensive blend of judicial practice, academic engagement, and hands-on training in confronting digital threats.
