Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy is a leading cyber security expert and international speaker. He works as a cybercrime researcher, cyber terrorism expert, and consultant for international organizations and his work on cybercrime has been cited in several international publications.

Dr. El-Guindy worked for several years as a Cybersecurity and Cybercrime consultant to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) developing and delivering training to Justice, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence Departments in MENA countries in addition to Europe.

He is currently working as the Digital Advisor to the Egyptian Public Prosecution Office planning and implementing the Digital Transformation Strategy for Justice. Furthermore, He works as the Program Director of the Professional Master in Cybercrime Investigations at Faculty of Law, the British University in Egypt.

In 2019, He was invited by Ministry of Defense to deliver speech in front of H.E. President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi about Hybrid Warfare and social media.

Mohamed is the official representative of ISSA (Information Systems Security Association) in Egypt and frequently represented Egypt in UNESCO International conferences and participated in drafting several UNESCO IFAP declarations related to cyberspace, literacy, and ethics. He is also a member of UNESCO IFAP Working Groups. He is the President and Founder of Technovation, the official representative of London College of Sciences and Technology (LCST) – UK and LexofTech for Technology and Consultations.

El-Guindy presents a Technology TV Show called “Tech Talk”, on Al Kahera Wal Nas TV Channel, in which he delivered over 300 episodes tackling variety of technical and scientific topics that have impact on the entire society.

Mohamed holds doctorate degree in cybersecurity, Doctorate degree and Chartered Fellowship from the Chartered Institute for IT in the UK, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy UK, Chartered Engineer, and Chartered Scientist from the UK. Furthermore, he is a professional member of several learned societies such as IEEE, BCS UK, IST UK and IET UK.

El-Guindy is member of the Cybersecurity Group of Expert at the World Economic Forum and frequently participates in International and regional conferences related to cybersecurity, cybercrime, and ICT. In addition, he published research on cybersecurity and cybercrime in international journals and authored multiple books in Arabic and English.
