ISSA Egypt is proud to announce that Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy, President of ISSA Egypt Chapter and international cybersecurity and cybercrime expert, was invited by the Egyptian Military Academy to deliver a keynote speech to Military Academy students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
The keynote addressed three critical themes shaping the future of national security and digital resilience:

Dr. El-Guindy explored how social media platforms have evolved from communication tools into strategic environments where influence operations, misinformation, psychological manipulation, and cognitive warfare can shape public perception, decision-making, and national stability.

The session highlighted the growing connection between cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, military readiness, economic security, and state sovereignty. - Surveillance and Counter-Surveillance
The keynote also examined the modern surveillance landscape, including digital tracking, data exposure, OSINT risks, mobile device vulnerabilities, and the importance of counter-surveillance awareness for individuals and institutions operating in sensitive environments.
Speaking to future leaders, Dr. El-Guindy stressed that the next generation of officers and national security professionals must understand not only weapons, borders, and traditional threats, but also data, algorithms, digital influence, cyber operations, and the psychology of online manipulation.
