The Distinguished Fellow designation is reserved for the top 1% of members worldwide. In 2026, only six cybersecurity professionals worldwide were selected for this recognition.
Dr. El-Guindy’s selection recognizes his long-standing contributions to the cybersecurity profession, including his work in leadership, innovation, professional influence, and volunteer service.
His work also extends to cybercrime investigations and cybersecurity education. At The British University in Egypt, Dr. El-Guindy played a pivotal role in designing and delivering the Cybercrime Investigations Professional Master’s Programme, contributing to the development of specialized academic education in cybercrime investigations.
